The Comparative Religious Ethics & the Buddhist Critical-Constructive Reflection Groups of the American Academy of Religion (Oct 31-Nov 1 in Atlanta, GA) invited Dr. Kao to respond to participate in a session entitled “Nondualist Ecology: Perspectives on the Buddhist Environmentalism of David Loy.”Professor Loy’s Healing Ecology.”

Her remarks were later published here in an article entitled “Moving Forward by Agreeing to Disagree: A Response to ‘Healing Ecology.'”
