Grace Kao was invited to take part in a book project on Christian social activists entitled Can I Get a Witness? sponsored by the Project on Lived Theology (at the University of Virginia) and the Other Journal.
Over the course of two multiple day meetings (at UVA and at Loyola University Chicago), she enjoyed discussing with her colleagues how to bring the powerful stories of their subjects to life — Grace Kao was assigned to write on Yuri Kochiyama.
She later was interviewed by Shea Tuttle for a podcast on Yuri.
