At the AAR, Dr. Kao delivered two presentations in the Animals and Religion Group.
The first was “Teaching Animals and Religion” where she discussed how she teaches about animal ethics.
The second was “A Feminist Theological Account of Cross-Species Friendship and Conversion in a Bicultural Context” with fellow contributors. Her remarks were eventually published in Encountering Earth: Thinking Theologically with a More-than-Human World.
