Grace Kao spoke on a panel reviewing Jonathan Trans’ unpublished manuscript, which was then entitled “Yellow Christianity: An Intervention on Christian Antiracism Discours.”
She was joined by fellow panelists Ki Joo Choi, Terence Johnson, Luke Bretherton, Andrea White; Jonathan Tran, the author, also responded to our remarks.
The preconference event was widely attended and conference attendees had a rousing discussion. Jonathan Tran’s book was subsequently published as “Asian Americans and the Spirit of Racial Capitalism.”
