Prof. Kao was a guest teacher for Prof. Esther Chung-Kim’s RLST 169 Christianity and Politics in East Asia course at Claremont McKenna College.
She spoke about Asian American Christianity: the sociological functions on mono-ethnic immigrant churches, why some second plus generations outgrow them either for pan-Asian or multiracial churches, and current trends in Asian American Christian ministry.
