Professor Kao was the respondent to a session co-sponsored by the Transformative Scholarship and Pedagogy Unit, the Women and Religion Unit, the Women’s Caucus and the Women of Color Scholarship; and Teaching and Activism Unit at the American Academy of Religion conference in Denver, Colorado on teaching in response to changing abortion laws.
The session was convened by Laura Stivers and featured Sandra Sullivan-Dunbar, Jeremy Posadas and Terry Hawley as the panelists.
