Siobhan Marin and Jack Schmidt interviewed Dr. Kao for her perspectives on surrogacy for their article published on the “God Forbid” program ABC Australia entitled “Surrogacy is a booming business. Some say it’s ’empowering’, others believe it exploits women.”
Earlier in February 2024, Dr. Kao had been interviewed by James Carleton of ABC with two others (Sara Jefford and Margaret Somerville) to discuss her views on surrogacy in the aftermath of the pope’s recent denunciation of surrogate motherhood and call for global ban of the practice.
