Dr. Kao participated in a 3-day gathering of human rights, reproductive justice, indigenous, and women’s rights scholars and activists in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We had a wide-ranging discussion about the state of democracy in the U.S., how RJ activists might best do their work post-Dobbs, and how to set both short-term and long-ranging goals for collective liberation.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation was a primary sponsor, along with Interfaith Voices for Reproductive Justice (IVRJ)
