Grace Kao was invited to take part in the Society of Christian Ethics’ SCE 2020: The Future of Christian Ethics committee where her colleagues and her assessed the strength of the field, job market realities, and demographic shifts among emerging scholars.

They presented their findings at the SCE at the annual conference in Seattle, Washington (from Jan 9-12).

More about the report, the report itself, and committee members can be found here.

In addition to participating on the Future of Christian Ethics panel, Dr. Kao also responded to a co-authored paper entitled “Asian Cultural Traditions and Christian Ethics: Problems and Prospects,” in the Asian/Asian American Working Group, and also served as a respondent for a paper entitled “Retrieving the Theological Traditions: A Response” in the Emerging Scholars Panel.
