Dr. Kao was invited to serve on a panel in the comparative religious ethics interest group at the Society of Christian Ethics. Her paper was entitled “Ecofeminist Ethics: Comparison, Ecumenicism, and Attending to Difference.” 

Their whole panel was later published in the Journal of Religious Ethics in a special section entitled “Sexing Comparative Religious Ethics: Bringing Forth Feminist and Gendered Perspectives.”
