Dr. Kao served as the co-chair of the 2024 APARRI conference. Held at UC Berkeley from June 11-13, this year’s theme was Religion & Solidarity in Precarious Times and featured keynote speaker Simran Jeet Singh.
In addition to overseeing plenary panels, concurrent paper or panel sessions, workshops, and pre-circulated paper sessions, Dr. Kao stepped into moderate two sessions when two presiders suddenly had to cancel their plans.
